Grade X1 Ingots
Description of Product:
Grade X1 ingots have the same extremely low carbon (typically less than .008% carbon), and low manganese (typically less than .15% manganese) as Grade X1 CP and Grade X1. Like Grade U thin plate, Grade U cut plate and Grade X1, it is an excellent source of iron units for the production of all stainless steel grades especially type L grades in air and vacuum melt induction furnaces. Grade X1 ingots are available in various large sizes 8” or 9” thick with widths and lengths as ordered (up to 40 inches or more). The X1 ingots can also be supplied with lifting lugs welded on to facilitate charging into furnaces. The chemistry of all Grade X1 ingots are heat certified
